Born from a Community
Wonder grew from a collective: a global network of artists, directors, and technologists exploring the creative frontier of AI. This community was building a new art form, but the traditional studio model was not designed to support them.
A new approach was needed. The spark that ignited Wonder came from two worlds uniting. Two founders, one a filmmaker at the heart of the creative movement and another a systems builder with a track record of scaling new industries. Together, they set out to build a studio that operates at the speed of modern creativity.

Xavier Collins
Xavier’s career spans scaling category-defining companies, from Uber and Deliveroo to launching Turo’s UK business and driving its global growth. Alongside founding and advising several early-stage startups, he also built Lumiere Ventures, a film rights fund that exposed the structural cracks in today’s entertainment model.
Now as CEO of Wonder, he’s building the studio infrastructure that lets creators and technologists shape an entirely new era of filmmaking.
Xavier’s career spans scaling category-defining companies, from Uber and Deliveroo to launching Turo’s UK business and driving its global growth. Justin Hackney
Justin’s career spans film direction, creative leadership, and AI innovation. After ten years directing award-winning documentary, music, and commercial campaigns at Mad Cow Films, he collaborated with OpenAI at the beginning of the modern AI movement, driven by a lifelong obsession with technology and new creative tools.
During this period he also founded Realdreams, a community that helped ignite a new wave of AI creators, and served as Creative Director at ElevenLabs, shaping its creative identity as it became a leading global voice platform.
At Wonder, he brings together artistry and innovation, guiding the studio’s vision as it builds a new creative frontier.
An award-winning filmmaker, Justin spent over a decade as a creative director at Mad Cow Films before moving to the forefront of AI-native creation.
A collaboration with OpenAI inspired him to found the Realdreams collective,
a global hub for AI creativity. As Creative Director at ElevenLabs, he was instrumental in scaling the team during its rapid growth.
A key figure in the generative media movement, Justin has helped realise two of the world’s largest AI film competitions. As Chief Creative Officer at Wonder, he guides the studio’s creative vision.
