The brief
Atomico’s sustainability team needed a short film to lead the microsite for its Conscious Scaling programme. It had to work muted, on autoplay. The one rule: no trees and no oceans.
What we made
To show how early-stage business decisions compound into long-term impact, we designed an abstract visual story. The film focuses on a single machine doing one precise task, then pans out to reveal a colossal megastructure.
How it was made
We developed the look in-house and built the film with the newest processes, then finished it in After Effects with a full sound design.
The result
The film launched in June 2026 at the top of the report’s landing page and across Atomico’s LinkedIn and X. Atomico’s team said it landed well inside and outside the company. It was our second film for Atomico, after the 2025 State of European Tech film, and Atomico has since hired us for the 2026 edition.
